8BitBerry Games is a trade name of Whorl Interactive Inc. - An independent games developer located in London ON, Canada.
History
Early history8BitBerry Games was originally formed by Ryan Pacheco in 2010 as Whorl Interactive. The company was born out of the desire of it's founder to one day establish a small studio of talented, hardworking, passionate and aspiring game developers to develop and release indie games. Professional and personal obligation would postpone the venture until mid year 2017. Whorl Interactive was rebooted summer of 2017, officially incorporated in October of the same year, and the trade name 8BitBerry Games was adopted. No time was wasted, and the company's first game, titled Elev8, was released on mobile devices - just a few months later - in early December of that same year.
After that8BitBerry Games is currently developing its second project titled Firelight. Open beta target - Q1 2019
